Before: Support Problems
This project came to us because the city ordered the owner to demolish their run down garage. It wasn’t as simple as that because the foundation and the walls of their garage supported their yard and the neighbor’s garage.

First, we had to remove the contents of the garage. Then we demolished and hauled it away to be recycled. We installed Anchor Diamond Straight Face Segmental Retaining Wall System with a stair case. This created a useable parking area that pleased the city and the homeowner.
This cabin’s backyard did not have much for useable space. It was very dark and claustrophobic. We removed existing retaining walls and a narrow cracked concrete patio, if it could be called a patio.
We excavated yards and yards of dirt to create a beautiful patio area. We installed Anchor Diamond Stone, cut block with stair cases and columns down to the lake and up to the side yard. The patio was created using Cobble Concrete Pavers.
This homeowner contacted us in late June 2014 after the monsoon rains. They were worried that railroad tile walls at the time would collapse and their house would start to slide down the hill. We gave them an estimate to replace the retaining walls with the Anchor Diamond Stone Cut and they contracted us in early fall.
More than 4 semi-loads of Segmental Retaining Wall Block went into this project. Numerous trees, shrubs and weeds were cut and chipped for much. We created numerous terraces to be used for gardens with steps running through from top to bottom. Landing and paths were created using Holland Stone Concrete Pavers.
